Assist in preparation of nearly 25,000 meals daily according to DOH standards
Dice, chop, mix, measure, steam, grill and cook a variety of ingredients every day
Scale recipes for large volume preparations while being conscious of waste
Skills and Abilities
Experience in high volume or commissary prep
Excellent knife skills - speed and efficiency is a must
Ability to bring cooking tools required
Able to carry 50 lbs for short periods of time
Must be reliable, function well within a team and work calmly and efficiently in a fast moving environment.
Must have strong communication and problem solving skills, be comfortable interacting with all levels of the organization
Must have strong attention to detail and follow through
This candidate must share our passion for nutrition and healthy lifestyles.
